Introducing G.I.R.L.S. Glow Up: Spreading Love and Strength to Teen Girls in Hospitals

Hello, Greater Phoenix community! I’m Hannah Small, a proud Ahwatukee student and the Project Coordinator for a new initiative close to my heart: G.I.R.L.S. Glow Up—Giving Inspiration, Resilience, Love, and Support. Today, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of this campaign, dedicated to bringing comfort, joy, and empowerment to teenage girls (ages 13–18) facing illness in hospitals across our area.

Our Mission: 500 Smiles by May 2026

At G.I.R.L.S., we believe every teen girl deserves to feel seen, valued, and strong, especially during tough times. Our goal is to deliver 500 personalized care packages to teen girls in Greater Phoenix hospitals by May 31, 2026. Each package is filled with thoughtful gifts to spark moments of hope and resilience. As a local Ahwatukee student, I’m honored to lead this effort and invite our community to join me in making it happen.

How You Can Support G.I.R.L.S. Glow Up

Why This Matters

A hospital stay can be overwhelming for a teenage girl, but a G.I.R.L.S. care package is a reminder that she is strong, loved, and supported. As an Ahwatukee student, I’ve seen the power of our community coming together, and I’m excited to lead this campaign to make a difference, one care package at a time.
