Community rallies behind Chandler teen with deadly cancer

Aug. 12—Chandler resident Jackson Bickler was on his Make A Wish trip to Hawaii and things were looking up.

His cancer went into remission in March and there was reason to hope. He’s about to turn 17 and had been accepted into a treatment program in Germany to deal with his soft-tissue cancer, metastatic alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.
