For the Ahwatukee community, that young athlete is Liam MacQueen.

The Armer Foundation for Kids exists to provide financial assistance to families whose children are battling chronic or life-threatening medical conditions. While these families focus on treatments, surgeries, hospital stays, and healing, they are often overwhelmed by mounting expenses such as insurance deductibles, travel costs, rent, utilities, and other essential household bills. The Foundation steps in to ease those burdens so parents can focus on what matters most—their child’s care.

One of the most meaningful ways Liam has supported the Foundation has been by standing alongside

his father, Patrick MacQueen, during the Armer Foundation for Kids’ annual Dancing with the Stars fundraising event. Patrick accepted the challenge of stepping onto the dance floor to raise critical funds for local families facing pediatric medical crises, and Liam was one of his biggest supporters every step of the way.

Liam enthusiastically volunteered his time and energy to support the Holiday Toy Drive, helping collect new toys and gifts that would bring smiles to children spending the holidays in the hospital.
